Making a list. Checking it twice. Trying to stay on top of the onslaught of things there are to do as an (essentially) D.I.Y performer. Get more shows, update show page, work on Synthpopretta, talk to filmmakers about a music video for “Yes”, continue to write songs. Write songs that are more “in-yo-face” for a new album, piecing together other heartfelt, heartbreak songs for a heartbreak album, daily updating my Instagram, realizing how pointless it is to update my Facebook page because my algorithm is so bad that virtually 10 people see every post I make… filling my time… rehearsing new songs, reading new books about Islamic punks, making new friends, partying at Kitkat til 3pm on a Saturday, having invigorating conversations with American friends who are obsessed with Feng Shui… and just generally having many many Berlinesque adventures.
