Your a talented artist, your music sounds good, its hype and there is a market for it. One suggestion though, capitalize on your semi viral video Shits Fucked. Make a few more songs that have that shock factor like Shits Fucked has. Loud, and catchy and upbeat tunes mixed with words that are just so fun to sing. Everybody Knows Shits Fucked was a perfect word combination that gets people listening. You could grow an even broader audience by making these almost funny songs. GL 😀
I hear what you’re saying. I mean, I have an album full of songs (People Tonight) and I think some of them are pretty damn catchy. I want to do music videos for some of them. That being said, that was the first time I ever really did that sort of in-your-face political song. I have written a few since with that same sort of vitriolic/ comedic attitude with titles like “we’re fucking idiots” and “drinking ammonia”. I posted two songs since then (maybe you noticed), but they were rather different… that being said, I’ve written about 10 songs in the last few weeks. I should polish a couple and post them. Thanks for the tip.
Yes, i think political songs are fantastic, based off of Shits Fucked im fairly certain you are more liberal, and there is a huge market in America for progressive tunes and music that flat out makes fun of conservatives. Lets be honest what not to make fun of about american conservatives. 😀 haha
I don’t quite agree with Matt.Thus there is a danger of becoming a musician of one note. “Shit’s fucked” – is a really great song, but why is it attracted so much attention? The matter is not in a political text. And not in a clown costume, and not in the green kitchen. The matter in your personal unique ability push absolutely polar and contrasting associations , incompatible things, your erudition, knowledge and independence. All this makes you absolutely free man, and yes, the internal freedom – the thing that attracts attention to you. You know, I listened to your songs in solo and in Trike project – and some of the those songs were absolutely amazing quality and level – in those DIFFERENT ways that you have chosen.
You already have beautiful feeling the music – I guess I didn’t open to you some new information, but I just want to warn you from getting bogged down in styles, frames, directions and trends.It can destroy you.Don’t follow the ways ,but create the ways .
So save yourself and keep doing what you’re doing. Don’t listen anyone)
